Nanosoft releases nanoCAD Plus 20 as a major update

Moscow, Russia | Posted on November 20th, 2020

Nanosoft is proud to announce an all-new version of its popular CAD software nanoCAD Plus. Version 20 is this year’s major update, and it adds dozens of new commands and features to make the budget-friendly CAD software even more powerful. Here are some of the highlights:

Major new changes introduced in nanoCAD Plus 20

nanoCAD Plus 20 now includes a drawing comparison tool, which lets you view the differences between two similar drawings. This is ideal for comparing different versions of technical drawings or seeing how they have changed over time.

There is also a bounding prism, which lets you easily clip into 3D models so you can instantly see what’s inside and make any changes as necessary. The new system variable monitor lets you easily see which variables have been changed, while a built-in script editor has been added for the writing and editing of scripts to automate drawing and editing routines.

nanoCAD Plus 20 also includes many improvements to existing features and commands. The undo/redo function has been overhauled entirely, and you can now preview changes to be made by the commands. The dynamic input method has also been updated to provide the option of entering commands where the cursor is located. Finally, the external references notifications now sends an alert whenever another use modifies an attached drawing file.

Why use nanoCAD Plus 20?

nanoCAD Plus 20 is a cost-effective alternative to industry-standard CAD software, but that doesn’t mean it compromises on functionality. It offers full native DWG format compatibility and an interface that will be instantly familiar to anyone accustomed to using CAD software. The software also has an open API for unlimited flexibility and expandability. Customers can also choose from multiple methods of acquisition, including a permanent license or an ongoing subscription.
